Dream Big Dreams Student Run Fundraiser!

Don't be afraid to "Dream Big Dreams" at our annual Fun Run this March! Trailside Elementary's "Dream Big Dreams" Fun Run, is our largest fundraiser for the year, AND it's student run!!!

INFORMATION PACKET: 

Dear Students and Parents of the Trailside Elementary Community,

We are so excited to host Trailside’s SECOND ANNUAL “DREAM BIG DREAMS” FUNDRAISER, ending with an IN-SCHOOL CELEBRATORY DANCE-A-THON FOR EACH GRADE ON FRIDAY, MARCH 29th! 

Our 14 day “DREAM BIG DREAMS” All-School Fundraiser will begin with a kick-off assembly themed Super Mario Brothers on Wednesday, March 13th, presented by our PTO, with music galore!

• Students will collect donations over 14 DAYS.
  
  
• Donations will be accepted via cash, check, OR on-line (through personal fundraising web pages that have been prepared for each student attached to this pamphlet).  The link to the web pages can be sent out to family & friends via phone, email, or through parent’s social media.
  
  
• There will be fun student and teacher incentives and top participating students & grade levels will be announced daily on the loudspeaker.
  
  
• We will celebrate our successes on Friday, March 29th with an in-school DANCE-A-THON for each grade and final assembly.

2024 Goal: $37,600 = $100 Per Student

ULTIMATE GOALS FOR “DREAM BIG DREAMS”:

• To bring our school community together!
  
  
• To enrich our school by helping our PTO have the funds to continue to implement programs and events that enhance our children’s education. EXAMPLES INCLUDE: Hosting a Science and Art Night, arranging for guest speakers and authors, providing after-school classes/activities, supporting teachers by financing Teacher Grant Requests, and orchestrating community-based events like our annual Trailblazer Kickoff Picnic and End of Year Carnival (all of these are funded with our PTO’s checking account!).  

*By creating our own in-house fundraiser, the students get to be a part of something larger than themselves. They get to spread the love and pride of their school to all and learn to do it on their own!
